Ben Peacock (center), Jacksonville High School assistant principal, was invited by Dr. Justin McInnis, left, to be the speaker for the weekly Rotary meeting. Robert Fannette is at right. Mr. Peacock discussed some of the challenges the district faces in the education system, and how the school is in many ways a reflection of the community. Mr. Peacock said the staff of JISD stresses that students and high achievers are rewarded, while all students learn order and discipline.
