Baseball, softball teams look to take lead in district

l Rusk's Maranda Westbrook slides to beat a tag at third base during March 8th's game at Brownsboro. The Lady Eagles defeated the Bearettes, 13-1. Rusk finished last week with an 11-0 win over Bullard to improve their record to 13-2 on the season. The second-ranked Lady Eagles enjoyed a bye on Tuesday and will take on Chapel Hill Saturday at 11 a.m.
