Copies of a one of a kind original art piece depicting "Old Alcalde Blast Furnace and Pipe Foundry" housed at the Heritage Center of Cherokee County are being offered for sale for $38. The foundry was built in 1884. The artist's name is not known but was an inmate at the Rusk Penitentiary. The prison was constructed in 1875 and opened in 1883 with 528 double-occupancy cells.
