Sandra McMurty named manager of the year

k Sandra McMurtry, mental health manager for Skyview Crisis Management was named the UTMB-CMC Mental Health Manager of the Year at the Feb. 17 University of Texas Medical Branch Correctional Managed Care Division (UTMB-CMC) winter conference. The selection was determined by UTMB-CMC Leadership following nominations by Ms. McMurtry's peers and coworkers. On Feb. 20 staff with both UTMB-CMC and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) Skyview/Hodge Units celebrated Ms. McMurtry's award. The surprise celebration was held at the Skyview Unit in the Crisis Management Department. From left are Major Charles Meador, Sandra McMurtry, Dr. Billy Shelton and Major Amahdrick Christopher.
