l Rusk's Josh Raiborn went six innings in the Eagles' game against Van, striking out seven, but did not figure in the decision as Rusk fell to the Vandals in eight innings, 5-4. The Eagles went 1-1 last week, defeating Nacogdoches 13-1. Raiborn finished with two RBIs in that game. Rusk opened district Tuesday against Tatum and travels to Henderson Friday night.
