A ribbon cutting was held March 7 for the Silver Platter in Rusk, at the former location of Sweets by Pam, located on the square at 121 Henderson St. Welcoming the new restaurant, which will specialize in American home cooking, were (front row from left) Jan Pate, Susan Pate, Stephanie Caveness, Judy Faye Garner, La Retta Britton, Kay Epperson, owner Pam Wallace, restaurant manager Angela Beckwith, Leslie and Charles Hassell, Robby and Bridgett Tosh.
