On March 18, at the Wednesday Study Club, Deborah Burkett delivered a program about the lives of five East Texas women from the 1830s through 1950s who inspired and made a difference in the times they lived. She also encouraged the members of the group present to document stories about women in their families to preserve the stories for future generations.
