Charles Dickerson, (left) ring announcer for the Cherokee County Livestock Show, received a standing ovation and a long round of applause April 28 at the annual buyer's dinner. Mr. Dickerson has volunteered for ringside duties for approximately 40 years. The award was presented by Board President Wayne Berry.
