l Rev. Paul E. Porter is the new minister at First United Methodist Church - Rusk. His first service was Sunday, July 5. Since becoming a pastor in 1993, the Rev. Porter has served in various cities. His most recent position prior to coming to Rusk was serving as the pastor at the FUMC in Edom. He is married to Suzanne Murphey Porter. They are the parents of three grown daughters who live in Nashville, Tenn., Arlington and Jacksonville.
