Water continues flowing despite lack of rain in Cherokee County

With the exception of 2007, July has typically been a dry month in Rusk and surrounding areas. Six of the last 12 years have had a total of four inches or more for the month of July, but two years - 2008 and 2015 - yielded less than one inch of rain for the month.
