James Johnson, Jr. was recently promoted to Lieutenant at the Skyview/Hodge Complex effective Aug. 1. He began his career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a correctional officer in July of 1995 on the Telford Unit. He transferred to the Michael Unit in 1996, and then transferred to the Skyview/Hodge Complex in May of 2006. He promoted to Sergeant on the Skyview/Hodge Complex in June of 2011.
