Museum’s newest members

l New board members for the Heritage Center of Cherokee County are Patsy Dawson and Shelley Cleaver, both of Jacksonville. The museum is located at 208 N. Henderson St. in Rusk. Ms. Dawson was instrumental in moving the Old Bonner Bank building next to the museum. Mr. Cleaver is also a member of the Cherokee County Historical Commission. The museum is open Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sundays 1-5 p.m. Admission is free.
