Wayne McGee, Kenny Derrington capture top honors at Cherokee County’s annual hay show

Kenny Derrington (right) receives a reserve grand champion plaque from Aaron Low, Cherokee County Extension Agent. The competition was held Oct. 20 at the Will A. Lewis Exposition Center in Jacksonville. Mr. Derrington's hay entry contained 17.07 percent hay crude protein. Committee members are: Aaron Low, Bruce Mehlenbacher, David Butler, Randy Gorham and Wayne Berry.
