JHS at TAFE competition

Jacksonville High School students Ruvi Salazar (left) and Jabria Rodgers (right) recently attended the Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) competition in Houston. Ms. Salazar received a blue ribbon, the highest honor at the state level, in her event, Teacher Created Materials. She was recognized on stage during the competition. Jacksonville High School TAFE advisor LoriAnn Pulley (not pictured) also received a one-year service award. Mrs. Pulley said the competition was "a wonderful learning experience" and looks forward to expanding JHS' TAFE chapter.
