Several county officials got a chance to meet Bubba, a five-year old longhorn steer owned by the Allen Brothers Ranch in Rusk. The Allen Brothers Ranch has kicked off a campaign to make Bubba the 15th iteration of Bevo at the University of Texas and took Bubba on a tour of the Square in Rusk to get the word out about the effort.
