New Reserve Deputy Sheriff

Adam Coats, a biology and self-defense teacher at Wells ISD, was sworn in on Feb. 3, as a reserve deputy sheriff at Cherokee County Sheriff's Office by Sheriff James Campbell. Mr. Coats graduated from the Angelina College Police Academy in December as the valedictorian and recipient of the Legacy Award.
