Cherokee County celebrates Easter with services, events

Cherokee County will hold three sunrise services Sunday to celebrate Easter. First Christian Church of Jacksonville will hold their sunrise service at 6:45 a.m. Sunday at Love's Lookout in Jacksonville. Several Rusk-area churches will hold their Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. at the Texas State Railroad Rusk Depot. Mission Tejas State Park will host a sunrise service from 7-8 a.m. at Mission Tejas State Park in Weches.
