A white frame structure for the Pine Springs Baptist Church (AKA First Baptist-Mixon) was used until 1952, when it was dismantled to make way for a brick sanctuary. The church voted on Dec. 10, 1950 to begin raising money for a new building. Willie D. Langston was elected treasurer of the building fund. The pastor at the time was Rev. Paul Deal. Current Pastor Bro. Chris Cliborn invites everyone to Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. April 24. Special music and lunch will be provided for the 150th celebration.
