On Saturday October 10th, the Sons of Confederate Veterans Cross of Saint Andrew Camp #2009 of Cherokee County assisted the Anderson County United Daughters of the Confederacy and the newly formed John H. Reagan Sons of Confederate Veterans camp in honoring John H. Reagan of Palestine. Mr. Reagan served under President Jefferson Davis as the Postmaster General of the Confederate States of America from 1861-65. Pictured are troops from both SCV camps at the statue of John H. Reagan at Reagan Park in Palestine.
