United Fund goal achieved

United Fund of Cherokee County reports that the goal for the fall campaign, totaling $113,600, has been achieved. Funds will support 17 agencies during 2015. Campaign leaders include from left, standing, Paul Travis, campaign chairman; Alison Hale, chair for the employee division; Anita Snider, who chaired the major gifts division; and Larry Long, who headed the Rusk division; seated from left, Janis Adams, general division chairman; and Nancy Washburn, president of the organization. The annual membership meeting will be at 5:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, at Austin Bank in Jacksonville. All contributors are welcome.
