The New Summerfield robotics team competed in the TCEA Area Robotics Competition Saturday, Dec. 4, at the University of Texas at Tyler. Team members who participated in the event include Nestor Juarez, Lacy Hyden, Pedro Oviedo, Manuel Hernandez, Robert Melendez, Jaqui Suarez, Ronnie Vanzant, Enedelia Paredes, Arely Suarez, David Ogeda, Venessa Deanda, Josue Olvera and Maria Pacheco. The team is led by high school instructors Tracey Dibbell and Scott Harclerode.
