Annual Caddo Culture Day set for Saturday

The annual Caddo Culture Day will showcase skills and events from the day-to-day life of the Caddo Indians who settled at the site of Caddo Mounds State Historic Park more than 1,200 years ago, such as throwing axes and the atl-atl, traditional Caddo music and dance, friction fire-starting and more. The event will take place Saturday at Caddo Mounds SHS, located just outside of Alto on 1649 State Highway 21 W.
