Janette Lewis (center) began her career with the TDCJ as a correctional officer in June of 2006 at the Byrd Unit. She transferred to the Ferguson Unit in 2008. In 2009 she transferred to the Hodge Unit where she promoted to Sgt. in June of 2011. She recently promoted to Lt. at the Skyview/Hodge Complex, effective Nov. 1. With her from left are Asst. Warden Calvin Tucker, Lt. Lewis and Major Charles Meador.
