Long-time Jacksonville High School biology teacher Billy Guinn and his his wife, Bettye, will be at book signings for Mr. Guinn's new book, "My Life" from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Marie's Book Store in Jacksonville and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8. at Austin Bank in Rusk. Autographed copies will be available at both sites. Mr. Guinn is the son of the late Frazier and Mable Guinn. Mrs. Guinn is the former Bettye Mercer of Rusk. Books may also be ordered from Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble online.
