The first annual Children's Day was held Sunday, Sept. 28, at Reklaw Baptist Church. Activities included Sunday school, special prayer time, a visual object lesson on the power of the blood of Jesus, gift bags, award medals, piano solos and duets, musical performances, and a Bible presentation to the children. Parents were invited to witness their children's skill in Bible activities as taught at the weekly children's church. Steve Tugwell is the Sunday school director. Reklaw Baptist Church is located at 545 Nacogdoches Street in Reklaw.
