Palestine businesses have joined an effort to provide drinking water to people living in the Fairview community near Reklaw. A group from the Multicultural Education Center in Palestine picked up water at the Kroger Grocery Store in Palestine recently. The water was transported to the community to be distributed. Persons or businesses wishing to donate water to the project may do so by calling the center at (903)729-3488 or (903) 729-0048, (903) 373-7543.
