Eagles fall short of playoffs, but silver linings exist

l Dakota McGowan (left) and Jake Hugghins are two of the Rusk Eagles slated to return on next season's team. The Eagles finished the year 4-6 (1-4 in District 7-4A Div. II), defeating Troup, Crockett, Brownsboro and Groesbeck. A total of 17 players with varsity experience are expected back next year.
