Steve Thompson, owner of Jake's Grill in Jacksonville, welcomes guests at open house Aug. 19 at his restaurant, located on U.S. Highway 69 N., across from the VFW Hall. The business sells hamburgers, barbecue sandwiches and other foods. Food may be to go or to dine in the beautiful dining room.
