Unusual 'freezing fog' transforms East Texas

m An ordinary pinetree looks like a flocked Christmas tree just waiting for holiday decorations. The ice crystals formed when a layer of fog blanketed East Texas. Once the thermometer dipped below 32 degrees, the fog simply froze on everything it enveloped. Weathermen say that if it had rained just before the fog, the results could have been a tree-snapping ice storm.
