U.S. Highway 69 construction is back on track

Construction work on US Highway 69 caused a traffic jam remiscent of the evacuations following Hurricane Rita. At one point, traffic stretched from Dairy Queen to the East Texas Medical Center. Despite some slowed commutes, traffic flowed smoothly within a few minutes when the Rusk Police Department began directly traffic.
