The Adopt-A-School Committee of the Jacksonville Chamber awarded two $1,000 scholarships at the Jacksonville High School Awards Banquet. Vance Royon, Adopt-A-School chair, presented a certificate of award to Allison Burns and Christina Roper. Surrounding Mr. Royon and the students are Chan Champsey, Texas National Bank, and adopt-a-school committee members Cheryl Adamson, Susan Phillips, Patsy McLeod, Pam Anderson, education development division chair and Kris Sturrock, chairwoman of the board.
