Seventy-five riders arrived on 63 motorcycles at Rusk First United Methodist Church Saturday morning, Jan. 29. These riders came from Longview, Lufkin, Tyler, Centerville and Nacogdoches. They were members of the Patriot Guard Riders, Christian Motorcycle Association and others had no club affiliation at all. However, they all came to have their motorcycles blessed. By 11:15 a.m. the parking lot was over flowing into the street. At 11:30 a.m. four prayer teams began to bless the riders and their bikes. The prayer teams laid hands on the riders and their machines invoking God's blessing on both. The riders moved from the parking lot to the fellowship hall to enjoy a complimentary lunch prepared by the United Methodist Men.
