Cherokee County rabies campaign starts May 6

Cherokee County Rabies Campaign has been scheduled for May 6-13. Cost for canine vaccinations include $8 for rabies; $30 for distemper and parvo; and $40 for rabies, distemper, parvo and bordetella.

Feline vaccinations are $8 for rabies, $30 for rabies and distemper and $40 for rabies, distemper and leukemia. Schedule for clinics are: Monday, May 6: • 5:30 p.m. at the

• 5:30 p.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church with Dr. Ira Stephens;

• 6 p.m. at the Gallatin Community Store with Dr. Holcomb;

• 6 p.m. at New Summerfield School with Dr. Alexander;

Wednesday, May 8

• 8 a.m.-6 p.m. at Cherokee Animal Clinic in Rusk with Dr. Holcomb;

• 5:30 p.m. at the Mount Selman Thurman’s Feed Store with Dr. Stephens;

• 6 p.m. at Mixon First Baptist Church with Dr. Alexander;
