Lon Morris College and Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins have been placed on warned status by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). The two colleges have been determined to be out of compliance with certain standards. However, both institutions remain fully accredited. Jarvis will be on the warned list for six months and Lon Morris for a year.
