Rusk State Hospital breathes ‘sigh of relief’

Legislature keeps funding on par with last biennium

State Sen. Robert Nichols admits he was worried about the Texas budget crunch in January. “It was a big shortfall – $25-27 billion,” he told the Cherokeean Herald in a telephone interview. “Ultimately, we came out well on Rusk State Hospital.”
