Jerry Patterson, Chairman of the VLB, today welcomed news that the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill sponsored by Congressman Mac Thornberry expanding access to Texas State Veterans Homes for all Gold Star parents. A Gold Star parent is someone whose son or daughter died while serving in the Armed Forces.
