Up to $30,000 missing

Audit of Justice of the Peace James Morris’ books ordered
A preliminary investigation into the financial records of the office of a Jacksonville justice of the peace indicates that funds are missing – and the amount could be as much as $30,000. County Auditor L.H. Crockett was scheduled to perform a routine audit of all JP books during early August.
