HOUSTON – (Feb. 8, 2010) – Women who have recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer or who are at a high risk for developing the disease may benefit from having their ovaries removed, said a gynecologic oncologist at Baylor College of Medicine (www.bcm.edu).
