Warden thanks community for support

TODD FOXWORTH Rusk

The Skyview / Hodge Complex staff would like to extend their sincere appreciation to you for your support during our 2009 State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC).

Because of the generosity of both citizens and businesses, we were able to raise $23,500 this year for this special event - our highest amount to date.

The majority of these funds were divided equally among the three charities that we selected at the beginning of SECC: American Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House, and Cherokee/Anderson County Crisis Center. Employee payroll contributions were made to the charity of their choice.

Many businesses in Rusk donated items, gifts, and money to assist our employees with this fundraising event.

Mrs. Scharlotte Celestine, SECC Coordinator, can attest that without the City of Rusk’s support, we would have not met such a high goal.

Thank you for taking part in this community effort.

Todd Foxworth is the warden of TDCJ’s Skyview/ Hodge Unit in Rusk.
