Glenn makes key stop in Indy’s win over Patriots

      Last Sunday night’s clash between the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots was billed by many as “game of the year,” even before a down was played. By the end of a nail-biter, many agreed that the two teams played in special game. Judging by his Twitter account last week, Rusk alum Cody Glenn knew the importance of last Sunday’s game.

Alto’s Skinner honored by University of Arkansas
     Craig Skinner, a 2003 graduate of Alto High School, was recently awarded the University of Arkansas’ Bill Ferrell Scholarship. The scholarship was given by the Razorback A Club, a group of former athletes and lettermen who worked together to endow the scholarship fund. The fund is in memory of Mr. Ferrell, a long time athletic trainer and head baseball coach at Arkansas.

      The Rusk Athletic Booster Club is need of volunteers for this year’s freshman and JV basketball tournament, set for Thursday, Nov. 19 and Saturday, Nov. 21. The club will host the hospitality room from 2-5 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. both days.
