Program will center around 1998 murder
      Crew members from the WEtv show, “Women Behind Bars” were in Cherokee County last week to interview local residents involved in the trial and investigation of the 1998 murder of Bobby Sexton.

Rusk, Alto clean-up days announced
      Rusk city wide clean-up is planned for 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 and Saturday, Oct. 17. Dumpsters will be available at the Rusk City Barn on U.S. Highway 69 S. and at the Conley Park on Reeder Street.

J’ville Music Jam is this weekend
      Organizers of the J’ville Music Jam expect attendance at their event to skyrocket as Jacksonville’s annual music festival/motorcycle rally has expanded from one to three days of music and hog-related fun. The event is planned for Oct. 2-4. Activities begin at 6:30 p.m.
