MURL DEAN SHAW MARTIN

Funeral for Murl Dean Shaw Martin, 82, of Reklaw, was at 10 a.m. Aug. 13, at Autry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Gerald Walles officiating. Burial was in Meador Cemetery.

Mrs. Martin died Aug. 11. She was born May 16, 1927, in Carbondale to Frank Shaw and Mollie Burns Shaw.

She was a member of Wooster Baptist Church in Baytown and was a retired switchboard operator at Austin Bank, in Baytown.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald Kruse; second husband, Roy Martin; and son, Roger Kruse.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Randy Kruse of Fort Worth and Gary and Cindy Kruse of Baytown; three sisters and a brother-inlaw, Delma and Truiett Yancey of Reklaw, Ethel Thompson of Diboll and Bethel Shaw of San Angelo; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Willie Arnwine, Bill Tullos, Harlan Crawford, Bob Wick, Aaron Higgins and Gerald Cumby.
