Spirits of folks living along El Camino Real have been raised immensely by the recent rains and somewhat cooler temperatures. The 100-degree weather we have been experiencing for the past few weeks was becoming unbearable. Rain came too late for most of the gardens but was soaked up by lawns and hay fields.
