Wells homecoming is March 28
      Wells homecoming is planned for 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Saturday, March 28. There will be live entertainment, food booths, crafts, a parade at 2 p.m. and fish fry at 5 p.m. The crowning of the queen will be at 7 p.m.

L. Finley named to state board
JISD ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT OF FINANCE
      Jacksonville ISD's assistant superintendent of finance and operations, Lindy Finley, has been named to the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) board of directors. She was named to the board at the annual meeting in February. Mrs. Finley resides in Rusk.

      Last day to register to vote in the Saturday, May 9 city and school elections is April 9. Early voting for the elections will be April 27-May 5.

RHS offers credit by exam
      Rusk High School will offer credit by examination May 5-7. Credit by exam is provided to students who wish to try to earn credit in a high school course. Students must call to request registration for these exams by April 5.
