      The weekend news talk shows were all abuzz about the Wall Street rally last week that sent stocks soaring more than 700 points. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke snagged headlines when he said that the current recession will likely end this year.

Spring forward? I will when I wake up
      I 'd like to say something with which many will agree. I hate the first few weeks after springing forward for Daylight Savings' Time. All of that about "spring forward?" I'd really rather have my hour's worth of sleep. It's just that first period of time right after the springing.

      Folks were beaming with joy along El Camino Real when the sky darkened and rain began to fall. Cold rain fell for several days and many folks were wondering if it was ever going to stop. We sure are a fickle bunch to pray for one thing and then when we get it we want it to stop.
