Auditions for the upcoming Cherokee County spring show of April Fish & The Wooing of Lady Sunday will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 1 and 7 p.m. Monday, March 2. A Mercury Sable driven by Debbie Howard, 44, of Lufkin apparently pulled out from Loop 343 on to Hwy 84 in front of Crystal Atkerson, 21, of Rusk. Ms. Atkerson's Ford Taurus collided with the side of the vehicle. Rusk VFD used the Jaws of Life to cut the door off of Ms. Howard's vehicle. She was transported to the hospital by ETMC EMS.
