Shredding old records


Randy Garratt of Ark-La-Tex Shredding Company Inc. shreds a can of old papers at the Cherokee County Courthouse. The company shredded 5,951 pounds of old records on Friday. They will return to the county on March 6. Offices participating in the clean-up program were the tax assessor-collector, county attorney and district clerk. Ark-La-Tex does on and off site shredding services for financial and health care businesses. They have 1,500 regular customers within a 115 mile radius of Tyler.
