The press release from Texas Governor Rick Perry landed in my e-mail inbox. I had received others in early 2003 as the governor made appointments to commissions and boards. This one caught my attention. More ... I t has been said that to understand where you are going, it is helpful to look at where you have been. Since February is Black History Month, I figure now is as good of a time as any to look back on my own Black history. More ... F olks along El Camino Real made it through another Super Bowl without a Texas team on the field. It is disheartening when you don't have anyone to cheer for but some out-of-state team that you normally can't stand. Maybe we'll have better luck next year.
