Funeral for Dorothy Jean (Doa) Dotson, 83, of Jacksonville was at 10 a.m. Monday Autry Funeral Home chapel with Phillip Strong officiating. Burial was in Still Waters Memorial Garden. Mrs. Dotson was born on Jan. 11, 1925, in Kaufman County to the late Thurman and Ruby Holland. She died on May 9. She was a homemaker, and was a member of the Southside Church of Christ of Jacksonville.

Survivors are her husband of 63 years, Glynn Adean Dotson of Jacksonville; daughter & sonin law Sue and Frank Dublin of Jacksonville; grandsons and spouses, Trey and Megan Dublin of Bullard and Dean and Jill Dublin of Sachse; and greatgrandchildren, Trevor, Trenton, Tyton, Thatcher, Tate, Jackson, Walker and Julianna.

Pallbearers were Charles Humphreys, Alvin Martin, Pete Betts, Eddie Arrington, Mike Terry and David Warren.
