Funeral for Johnnie Mae Mabry, 93, of Rusk will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 7, at Salem Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Mabry officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemeter.

Mrs. Mabry died May 4. She was born May 20, 1914, in Helmic to the late John Quincy and Mary Etta Davidson Hicks. She was a resident of Rusk most of her life and a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Rusk. Preceding her in death were her husband, Henry Mabry; son, Captain Donald H. Mabry; daughter, Ima Jean Lloyd; two greatgrandchildren, Justin Fritz and Kayla Denn. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Sandra Mabry of Rusk; three daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthie and Norman Smith of Houston, Bessie and Laymon Fritz of Conroe, Janis and Tommy Campbell of Fairfield; 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home was in charge.
